South Medford High School

The current school was built in 1931 and has had multiple additions.  These additions have made the facility inefficient for the student population that attends.  The current campus has 78 classrooms on its 21 acre campus.  The new SMHS will be built at Cunningham and Columbus on approximately 38 acres, already owned by the district.  The new school will have 85 classrooms and offer 255,000 square feet of teaching space to accommodate 2,000 students.  The student parking entrance will be on Columbus Avenue and exit will be on Diamond.  Bus drop off will be between sports fields and student parking.  Faculty and visitor parking entrance will be on Cunningham Avenue.
