PROJECT SUMMARY:                                                                                        © David Gibb Photography

Hoover Elementary was built in 1958 and has 29 classrooms on its seven acre campus.  It is undergoing renovations including new roofing, heating/ventilation and air conditioning upgrade, security and new flooring.  By upgrading the heating & ventilation and installing flooring instead of carpet, classrooms will have less allergens which means  better air quality for students.  Flooring is also found to last 30-40 years instead of carpet which lasts 10-15, and is easier to maintain.  Both the interior and exterior were repainted. Windows throughout the facility will be replaced in Summer 2008.
