PROJECT SUMMARY

Nine classrooms and the gym were built in 1972. The main building was built in 1983. Howard Elementary offers 27 classrooms on its 5 acre campus. It will undergo heating/ventilation and air conditioning upgrades, flooring replacement, security updates and interior and exterior painting. By upgrading the heating & ventilation and installing flooring instead of carpet, classrooms will have less allergens, better air quality for students. Flooring is also found to last 30-40 years instead of carpet which lasts 10-15, and is easier to maintain.
