PROJECT SUMMARY:                                                                                        © David Gibb Photography

Jacksonville Elementary School was built in 1954 and has 21 classrooms on its 10 acre campus.  It will have heating/ventilation and air conditioning upgrades, security upgrades, new flooring, interior and exterior painting. A sidewalk along the back street has been installed so that students walking to school can be safely out of the road. By upgrading the heating & ventilation and installing flooring instead of carpet, classrooms will have less allergens, better air quality for students.  Flooring is also found to last 30-40 years instead of carpet which lasts 10-15, and is easier to maintain.
