Synthetic Turf

Synthetic turf is being installed at most new high schools today.  In keeping with the bond principle of "durable and low maintenance facilities," the district is looking at the investment of synthetic turf as an upgrade from natural grass.  The only locations being considered for turf are inside the tracks at both North and South, where daily school use and athletic events would occur.  Spiegelberg Stadium would continue to be the "Friday Night Lights" for home football games and other events.  Please click on the link below to read the information as provided to the School Board.
